Top 5 Affordable Date Night Ideas

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I know couples are looking for affordable Valentine’s date night ideas. If you are tired of the traditional dinner date and fortunate enough to have a baby sitter for the kids. Then look no further. Here a few date night ideas for couples that I think everyone will enjoy.

    1. Wood Workshops

These are usually held at boutique DIY studio that offers hands-on classes for creating custom and charming home decor from raw materials.  Most are instructor-led workshops that allow you to make customizable wood signs, frames, custom clocks, round signs, lazy susans, centerpiece boxes, trays and more!  These workshops will help you take your home decor to the next level and have fun while creating them. These is a definite date night that guys will enjoy.

    2. Cooking Lessons

Check your local Williams Sonoma stores. They offer monthly cooking classes for a very reasonable price. If your mate enjoys watching you cook then this could be a good opportunity for you both enjoy time out and put those cooking skills to the test.

    3. Paint & Sip Classes

These classes are very fun. They have studios popping up in most cities. The classes range from $25-$55 depending on the size and skill level of the painting you select. The best part is you can bring your own wine.

    4. Romantic Dinner at Home

If your mate has a highly stressful work environment or hates crowds then cooking a nice meal at home might work out perfect. Walmart or Publix even has nice rose petals and wines to pair with your meal. Dinner at home will also cut out the travel time and straight to the love-making. *wink*

    5. Walk on the Beach

If you are lucky enough to live near a beach (glad that I do), then go for a nice walk on the beach. You can even make it a picnic by packing some healthy snacks such as fruits, cheeses and nuts.

I hope you enjoyed these date night ideas and these ideas can be used year-round and not just for Valentine’s Day.

  • Date Night Outfits Ideas

February is the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day. Whether you will be celebrating at home or going out to celebrating, I have a great date night outfit idea.

As we get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day it is a great time to plan a night out with our Beaus. February is also a great time for Galentine’s Day celebration with your girls.

A great date night outfit idea is a cute off-the-shoulder dress. I love how off-the-shoulder dresses can be worn as a business casual outfit. After work do lip-color change and it can turn into a happy hour outfit with the girls. I got this comfy off-the-shoulder dress from NYandCompany. I paired it with leopard Steve Madden pumps and some cute earrings. All for less than $100. You definitely don’t have to break the bank to look good.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Now it’s time to go out and celebrate Valentine’s Day with your Beau!
