Whewww! Let me tell you, Costa Rica did not come to play, and neither did I when it came to these Costa Rica vacay outfits! After sharing my birthday trip recap in my Best Wellness Resort in Costa Rica blog post, I have to share what I wore?โ You know your girl had to bring that LoveLeeToya style even while hiking and sipping smoothies poolside.
Hereโs a breakdown of everything I wore for my week in paradise, from slow mornings at the spa to scenic hikes and luxe dinners under the stars. Keep scrolling for feminine, comfortable, and effortlessly elevated vacation looks.
โจSightseeing Chic Outfits

Costa Rica is full of hidden gems, so comfy yet cute was the name of the game. For exploring local towns and grabbing fresh fruit at the market, I wore a lightweight linen dress in terracotta. It was breezy, breathable, and timeless. Paired it with raffia sandals and my straw hat (yes, the one I always bring on vacay).
Pro tip: Neutral colors are your best friend while traveling. They mix and match like a dream and always look put together.
โ๏ธPoolside Day

You already know the poolside content was givinggg! I wore a Kelly-green two-piece swimsuit with gold ring details that hugged all the right places. I threw on black sheer cover-up pants, a printed head scarf and some oversized sunnies for that luxe, feminine touch.
๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธSpa Day

For my spa day, I stayed comfy in a soft crochet fringe dress in bright white. It gave โrich auntie on a wellness retreatโ and thatโs exactly the vibe I was going for.
๐ดBeach Babe Energy

Iโm a beach girl through and through, so I had to bring options. My fave was a bright orange monokini paired with a matching pants. I added a matching scarf for an effortlessly elevated beach look.
Also brought a cream maxi dress to throw on after the waves for a seaside lunch. The open-back detail? Chefโs kiss.
๐ง๐พโโ๏ธYoga Flows

Early morning yoga with the jungle soundtrack in the background was a spiritual experience. I wore lots of activewear sets, and my favorite was these skirt-looking activewear shorts in a sage green shade paired with a white built-in bra tank. Itโs soft, supportive, and doesnโt roll down mid-sun salutation.
๐ฅพHiking with Style

We hiked to the world famous Haceinda La Chimba and yes, it was giving Tomb Raider, but make it cute. I wore a grey biker short set while hiking, a white baseball cap, and an oversized button-up tied at the waist. My hiking boots were sturdy and cute (praise report).
Once we made it to the top, I changed into a lovely tiered maxi dress, slicked my hair back, threw on a straw hat, tinted SPF, and felt both strong and stylish.
Pro tip: Take a foldable backpack with a change of clothes so you can take photos along the trail.
๐ฝ๏ธDinner & Golden Hour

Dinner time = glam time. One of my favorite outfits was a red balloon skirt and a white button-front vest. I paired it with strappy heels, gold teardrop earrings, and my Coach Pillow Tabby. The look was bright and vibrant, and it looked beautiful when photographed during dinner. The guests at the resort were like, โYou look so lovely!โ and they were right.
Another night, I wore a floral wrap dress that gave โsoft and sophisticated,โ perfect for a quiet dinner by the fire pit.
๐๐พโโ๏ธSpa Treatments & Self-Care
For massages and slow mornings, sipping tea on my balcony, I kept it cozy but cute. Think matching loungewear, workout sets, and a silk headwrap. The resort provided us with 100% organic cotton plush robes, which provided a feeling of extra self-care.

Finally, if thereโs one thing Iโve learned from traveling, itโs that you donโt have to sacrifice style for comfort. Everything I packed for Costa Rica was aligned with my CALM life (Confident, Aligned, Luxurious, and Mindful). Shop all my looks HERE.
